14-gauge steel through to the door

Both the body and the drop-down door are made of 14-gauge steel, providing your work gear with a substantial enclosure on all sides. Formed edges stiffen the opening and reinforce the door, helping it retain its shape and meet the seal evenly.

Welded into a solid enclosure

Continuous welds close the body seams, with weld coverage and box alignment checked before finishing. Weld spatter is removed and exposed edges are deburred, leaving smooth surfaces where your hands, straps and tool cases pass.

Weather sealed to keep your gear dry

Continuously welded body seams, a recessed door and a formed rain gutter work together to keep water out. A rubber perimeter seal compresses as the latches draw the door closed, helping keep rain, road spray and dust away from your gear. The seal remains flexible across changing temperatures and is replaceable when worn out.

Closes firmly and locks securely

Keyed compression latches pull the door against its seal for a positive close. Stainless steel latch hardware resists corrosion, while three-point locking secures the door at multiple points. A drill-resistant lock core adds protection against forced entry.

One key for the whole box

The 24- and 30-inch models use one compression latch; the 36-, 48- and 60-inch models use two. Both locks on a two-latch box use the same key, so you can secure the wider door without adding another key to your ring. Keys are included with every box.

Exterior-grade PP powder coat

Exterior-grade PP powder helps the finish resist weathering, fading, and everyday scratches. The steel is cleaned and pretreated before coating, with black powder applied inside and out, including the door. Coverage is checked around edges, corners, and welds, where exposed steel is most vulnerable to corrosion.

Supported, wide-open and reachable

A concealed, full-length stainless-steel hinge supports the door along its lower edge while shielding the moving joint from direct road spray. Stainless-steel cables and rivet-nut anchors hold the door open at 90°, leaving both hands free to load or retrieve your equipment. The broad drop-down opening puts tool cases, straps and spare parts within reach from beside the truck.

Hardware kept clear of the seal

Corrosion-resistant fasteners secure the hinges, latches, and door supports. Each attachment is positioned clear of the gasket contact area and the door’s travel, so screw heads and rivets cannot rub against the seal or obstruct the closing action.

Checked through every stage

Welds and dimensions are checked before finishing. Coating coverage is inspected after curing, followed by checks of door alignment, hinge movement, seal contact and latch operation. Water-spray and repeated-opening tests check sealing and operation. Every supplied item is tested in its lock before packing.

Replacement seals, latches, hinges, support cables and keys are available for your model. When a part wears, or a key goes missing, you can replace what you need and keep the box working.

Protected on the way to your truck

Reinforced packaging and corner protection cushion the box in transit, helping protect the finish and door alignment. The 48- and 60-inch models ship on wooden pallets for handling and transport.
